The MuxLab 500994 is an infrared (IR) sensor designed to work with active MuxLab receivers to enable IR source control between the AV source and the display. It receives IR signals from a handheld remote and transmits them to the IR emitter (MuxLab 500998), which then relays the commands to the AV source device.
The 500994 connects to an active AV receiver and is compatible with MuxLab AV over IP extenders including models 500755, 500756, and 500757. For full functionality, it must be used with the MuxLab 500998 IR Emitter (sold separately). A handheld remote control is required but not included.
