Repeaters

Repeaters are devices that allow the amplification of the transmitted signal. This allows the signal to be transmitted over longer distances minimising losses. In addition, these devices are equipped with additional functions, such as the ability to adjust amplification levels or the ability to convert the signal from e.g. a coaxial cable to an optical one.
