High efficiency and powerful performance

The new AMP 4200 multi-zone amplifier from WHD is a powerful, network-capable multi-room audio solution for up to four speaker zones and provides 4 × 200 watts in just one rack unit. The multi-zone amplifier has an extremely linear frequency response and is suitable for both low-impedance and 100-volt speakers. The 100 volts are generated electronically and therefore without loss. The sources can be fed in via either two stereo or four mono line-ins. The AMP 4200 multi-zone amplifier is ideal wherever different sound sources need to be distributed across one or more zones: in hotels and restaurants, for relaxing music in the wellness area or lounge music in the bar, as well as for shops or upscale living areas. An additional AMP 4200 is used for more than four zones.


Network integration and intuitive operation

The AMP 4200 multi-zone amplifier can be integrated into the respective TCP/IP network and thus coupled and controlled with other IP-capable devices. In addition, the amplifier is Control 4-capable and therefore ideal for use in the smart home. Operation is also adapted to the individual needs of the user: it is carried out either directly on the device using the rotary control or display on the front or externally via the browser. Settings made can be saved. If necessary, access to the device is protected with a password. With the timer function, operation can even be automated, e.g. B. at 7:00 a.m. music in the breakfast room, at 10:00 p.m. from the terrace...

In combination with the very easy-to-use TP 4200 touch panel, the AMP 4200 becomes even more interesting for integrators and installers, as users can operate the system intuitively.


Slim design and economical consumption

The black metal housing measuring 430 × 60 × 320 mm is a free-standing device that can easily be installed as a single height unit in any 19'' rack thanks to the included angle adapter. What is important to WHD is the sustainability aspect with regard to power consumption: The AMP 4200 multi-zone amplifier works very energy-efficiently and does not generate any additional heat that has to be dissipated via air conditioning, for example from the technical room. Using the built-in power saving function, the AMP 4200 automatically switches to standby mode when no music is playing.
