Description

The multi-zone hotel sound system based on the RDL RU-NMP44 network mixing processor features excellent sound quality, ease of expansion and convenient day-to-day operation. The use of the universal DANTE protocol makes it possible to freely select the devices most suitable for the rooms to be publicised.

The RU-NMP44 processor contains six independent mixers, four with DANTE outputs and an additional two with analogue outputs. Parameter settings for the processor and controllers are made using a laptop and the free RDL Console 2.0 software. The system allows four global presets to be stored and easily called up from the D-RC4M wall panel by system users. Digital D-NMC1 panels installed in individual zones allow the volume in the zones to be adjusted remotely.
All audio transmission in the DANTE system ensures reliability, and we use a standard LAN to transmit audio, this topology reduces the cost of wiring the system and allows it to be easily expanded.

For example - using a four-channel Bluesound Professional B400S network player as a music source and a RU-NMP44 processor - we get the possibility of separating 4 zones. In each of these we install digital wall controllers for easy volume control in the zones.

If there is a need for verbal announcements in the venue, we feed a signal from the DANTE microphone (TDN1) to one of the input channels.  The processor will automatically mute the music in the specified zones for the duration of the broadcast - ensuring excellent intelligibility of the spoken message.
