Contacta - intercoms

POS intercoms are devices that allow communication between people separated by a partition. The most common are customer service stations in banks, patients in health care facilities or petitioners in municipal offices.

Contacta intercoms are available in a variety of design and mounting options, always two-way (full duplex). Depending on the type of station, microphones and speakers on the customer's side can be mounted on or in the countertop, flush with the surface, the microphone can be taped to the glass or mounted in a tube bent to fit the system into the feeder opening. A customer using a hearing aid, equipped with a T (telecoil) function, can also have an induction loop.

The attendant can use a microphone unit with a built-in speaker or use a headset. The STS-A31 amplifier, which is the heart of the intercom, is an energy-efficient, digital device with the ability to limit the range of level adjustment to avoid acoustic feedback.
