Wireless conference system for board meetings

The conference system allows meetings to be structured by giving the floor to participants. This tool is useful for both small meetings and larger conferences.

The WDC-903 is Relacart's solution for wireless discussion systems.

The system consists of:

• a central unit responsible for controlling and connecting the system
• microphone units
• antennas
• power amplifier
• loudspeakers

The system can also be expanded with an image tracking unit and an audio recording device.

Microphone units come in two versions:
► for the delegate, which has a button with which the user, depending on the system mode, can activate the microphone or signal to speak
► for the chairman, which has the option of allocating the floor to delegates, and a speech priority button to mute the other active microphones.

Up to 5 microphones can be active simultaneously, and 150 microphone units can be connected to the central unit, including 2 for the chairman. The units are powered, with 2900 mA lithium batteries, allowing up to 24 hours of continuous operation.

The system can operate in one of 4 modes:
► time-limited mode
► FIFO mode, when the number of people wishing to speak exceeds the maximum number of speakers, the microphone is switched off for the person who has spoken the longest
request mode, delegates wishing to speak signal this via a button on the console and the chairman allocates the floor
► voice-activation mode, the microphone is activated when a delegate starts to speak.

An audio signal is fed to the input of a power amplifier and then distributed to speakers distributed around the room.
