Description

Assistive listening system for the hearing impaired at the Stakeholder Service Desk and the Reading Room in the Courts in accordance with the study Model of Accessible Court.

The Accessible Court Model study commissioned by the Ministry of Justice provides guidelines and recommendations on the accessibility of public buildings in the judiciary for people with disabilities, including people with hearing impairments.

The document defines 3 levels of accessibility achieved by a building.

With regard to the equipment of the Customer Service Office and the Reading Room, it is recommended to equip the BOI with induction loops, at least one device to make it easier for hearing-impaired persons to understand the employee.

In our offer you will find ready-made solutions for fulfilling the accessibility requirements of the BOI on level 1, 2 and 3.

Level 2 accessibility means minimum equipment as at least one stationary induction loop or a public address intercom system supporting hard of hearing people without hearing aids with a T-coil.

Contacta's STS-K series intercoms supplemented with an induction loop cable provide support for both hard of hearing people with a T-coil and hard of hearing people without a hearing aid. Models are available for any type of workstation; to be placed on a table top or mounted on or against a safety barrier - if the workstation is partitioned by one. The induction loop can be mounted under the countertop or in a sign indicating the presence of the loop.

Equipping the BOI station with a Contacta intercom with loop ensures that the requirements for level two and, in combination with the other requirements for the whole building, level three are met.
