The Soft dB RL96-8ch is a high-performance, compact 1U rackmount sound masking controller designed for large office spaces over 5000 square feet. It features 8 independent output channels, each supporting up to 12 speakers - for a total of 96 speakers per controller.

Each channel includes a dedicated equalizer with 340 narrow bands and 23 1/3 octave bands, offering both automatic and manual tuning. The built-in high-power amplifier delivers up to 92 dBA at 1 meter, ensuring optimal sound masking performance in demanding acoustic environments.

The RL96-8ch includes a touchscreen interface for intuitive zone-based control, 8 inputs for adaptive volume control sensors, 4 music/paging inputs with independent 1/3 octave EQ, and 2 inputs for wall-mounted volume control knobs. It supports full scheduling, emergency mute, and 24/7 system diagnostics. Fully networkable, it integrates seamlessly into the smartSMS-NET system and meets LEED requirements.
