Barix Exstreamer 500 is a professional multiprotocol Audio over IP encoder/decoder designed for broadcast, VoIP, and professional audio applications. Featuring balanced stereo line inputs and outputs, it supports a wide range of codecs and protocols, including MP3, G.711, G.722, AACplus, PCM, Ogg Vorbis, and Shoutcast/Icecast source streaming.
Equipped with audio level supervision and SNMP trap generation, relay outputs, and full IP streaming over TCP, UDP, RTP, and Multicast, the device is ideal for live audio streaming, paging, intercom, and audio distribution systems. Additional interfaces include RS-232/RS-485 serial ports, USB flash memory, and multiple relay and contact closure inputs, enabling extensive integration and control.
