New in Our Offer: RDL Rack-Up® Dante® Interfaces with Built-in Matrix Mixer
2026-10-06RDL (Radio Design Labs) has introduced a new series of Rack-Up® Dante® interfaces. These compact devices carry analog mic and line signals into a Dante network and back out again. Every model has a built-in matrix mixer and essential onboard signal processing. For integrators, this means fewer additional devices in the system and more flexibility when designing installations.
Matrix Mixer and Onboard Signal Processing
Every interface in the new series has a matrix mixer for mixing and distributing signals directly in the device. The mic/line inputs have software-selectable gain, P48 phantom power, filters and analog compression. Output levels are set in software, with no need to touch the device. Simple signal processing tasks can be handled at the edge of the network, without a separate DSP.
Configuration in RDL CONSOLE 3
The devices are configured and controlled in RDL CONSOLE 3. The new version brings a range of new features and a simpler, more intuitive interface, so systems take less time to commission.
Rack-Up® Format - Flexible Mounting
The interfaces are built in the Rack-Up® format, for which RDL offers a full range of mounting options. The devices can be installed in a rack, under a desk or wherever the project requires. The series combines superior audio performance with the durable construction RDL products are known for, and the manufacturer backs it with a 7-year warranty.
Available Models
- RU-RN44: 4x4 bi-directional network interface. Four mic/line inputs to Dante channels, four Dante outputs to mic/line, 8x8 matrix mixer, software-controlled output attenuation.
- RU-RN22: 2x2 bi-directional network interface. Two mic/line inputs to Dante channels, two Dante outputs to mic/line, 4x4 matrix mixer, software-controlled output attenuation.
- RU-RN40: 4x0 input interface. Four mic/line inputs to Dante channels, 4x4 matrix mixer. Each input has an XLR connector and a removable terminal block.
- RU-RN04: 0x4 output interface. Four Dante outputs to mic/line, 4x4 matrix mixer. Each output has an XLR connector and a removable terminal block, with filters and attenuation set in software.
On all models with inputs (RU-RN44, RU-RN22, RU-RN40), gain, P48, filters and compression are software-selectable.
Who Is It For?
RDL Rack-Up® Dante® interfaces are designed for AV integrators and system designers building networked audio installations in conference rooms, lecture halls, corporate facilities, hotels and public buildings. They fit wherever microphones and analog sources need to be brought into a Dante network, or where a signal needs to be sent from the network to amplifiers, recorders or video conferencing systems.
All models are available now and come with a 7-year manufacturer's warranty. For help with product selection, availability and pricing, please contact our sales team.
