Description
RDL RU-RN40 - microphone/line interface for Dante/AES67 network 4x0 with 4x4 matrix and DSP
The RDL RU-RN40 is an audio interface for Dante/AES67 by Radio Design Labs, which transmits signals from microphones and line sources to an audio network. The module has 4 analog microphone/line inputs and 4 Dante/AES67 network outputs. Each network output is powered by an internal mixer that receives signals from all 4 inputs. Mixer levels and DSP filters are fully adjustable, allowing the device to function as an audio mixer, distribution amplifier, or both simultaneously. In factory settings, the RU-RN40 converts 4 line sources, dynamic or condenser microphones into 4 Dante/AES67 channels. Each input has an XLR connector and a detachable terminal block that can be wired symmetrically or asymmetrically, with a nominal level of +4dBu (-18dBFS). The input gain is adjustable from 0-60dB, and each input has P48 phantom power and a switchable compressor/limiter. Very low latency, THD+N distortion below 0.05%, and operation with sampling rates of 48kHz or 96kHz at 24-bit resolution ensure high sound quality. Configuration, monitoring, and updates are done over the network using RDL Console 3 software, and control is enabled by RDL D-NMC1R and D-NLC1R remote panels. The module is powered via PoE (class 0, IEEE 802.3af) or from a 24V DC power supply. The steel housing from the RACK-UP series allows for surface mounting, in a 19" rack, or on a DIN rail. The device is intended for rack cabinets, technical rooms, conference tables, shelves, and mounting panels in commercial and industrial installations. The product is covered by a 7-year manufacturer's warranty.
