Bettear CASTER XD - Auracast transmitter with Dante input, black

Bettear CASTER XD is a professional Auracast™ transmitter that takes its audio over Dante®. Sources are patched just as with any Dante® device - in Dante Controller or directly from a mixing console with its own routing control. A switchable internal or external antenna (RP-SMA connector) lets you tune RF coverage to the room, and the whole system is managed from the built-in web panel or the Hive Central platform.

Both LAN ports carry Dante® and are enabled as standard, with no extra licence. In Bridged mode each port carries both Dante® and Bettear control, so further Dante® devices can be daisy-chained - according to the manufacturer it is the only Auracast™ transmitter with built-in Dante® daisy-chain support. In Isolated mode LAN 1 carries Dante® only and LAN 2 Bettear control only, so the audio and management networks can run on entirely separate switches and cabling.
