CASTER X

Bettear CASTER X - Auracast transmitter with external antenna, white

Bettear CASTER X is a professional Auracast™ transmitter from the CASTER family that combines balanced analogue inputs with support for an external antenna. The internal or external antenna is selected from the web panel or the Hive Central platform, and different antenna types can be freely mixed within one installation. As a result, broadcast coverage can be precisely tailored to the room and to where the listeners are.

A miniature button antenna lets you hide the transmitter behind a wall, ceiling or décor - only a coin-sized antenna stays visible. A directional panel antenna focuses the signal exactly where the audience is, which works well in sports arenas, large halls and on transport platforms. The transmitter streams audio with very low latency and supports a stereo programme or two mono programmes, encrypted broadcasting with QR code access and a hybrid mode with the Bettear Wi-Fi system.
