Description

Zoned Sound System for Public Administration Facilities

A modern zoned sound system for public administration facilities enables efficient management of communication and audio distribution across different areas of a building. The solution is based on the Intusonic HMA74 audio matrix, allowing independent control of four audio zones, ensuring clear voice announcements, information broadcasting, and background music playback.

The core of the system is the audio matrix, which provides flexible assignment of audio sources to selected zones such as customer service areas, corridors, waiting rooms, administrative offices, and outdoor spaces.

Voice Announcements and Zone Management

Voice announcements - including informational, organizational, and emergency messages - can be broadcast using the Intusonic HPA41 zone paging microphone. The user can address one, multiple, or all zones, ensuring efficient communication management throughout the facility.

Automation and Audio Playback

The system supports automated playback of scheduled messages. With the Waves System AP420 network player, predefined announcements can be broadcast according to a schedule, improving operational efficiency and organization within the building.

The device also enables background music playback from internet radio or stored playlists, enhancing visitor comfort in waiting areas and service zones.

In selected areas, the system can be expanded with the Waves System B100S streamer, allowing playback from streaming services. This is particularly suitable for representative areas or public-facing spaces.

Integration of Microphones and External Sources

An additional element that enhances system flexibility is the Intusonic HZE11x wall panel with a line input and volume control. It allows quick connection of external audio sources such as wireless microphones - for example the Relacart UR-290D MH/T system.

This solution is especially effective in conference rooms, meeting rooms, and multi-purpose spaces where presentations, official meetings, and public events take place. On a daily basis, the zone operates in standard mode (central audio and announcements), while during events it enables local microphone use without affecting the entire system.

Speakers for Different Facility Zones

Depending on the type of space, the system can be equipped with various loudspeaker types tailored to specific applications.

Service Areas and Corridors

  • Intusonic 4FP40R - wall-mounted speakers providing high speech intelligibility and background music playback

Waiting Areas and Public Spaces

  • FAMA 8 - ceiling speakers designed for discreet sound coverage in lobbies, reception areas, and shared spaces

Administrative Offices

  • DSPPA DSP5011 - low-power ceiling speakers suitable for quiet areas such as offices and staff spaces

Outdoor Areas

  • DSPPA DSP6050 - weather-resistant speakers designed for entrances, courtyards, and external areas
