MuxLab 500025 - MonoPro™ XLR, M, Audio Balun

MuxLab 500025 MonoPro™ XLR is a professional audio balun that allows a standard AES analog or digital XLR audio channel to be extended via a single Cat5e/6 cable in professional audio environments. The male XLR3 version enables audio extension up to 1.5km (5,000ft) for analog signals or up to 426m (1,400ft) for digital audio. The balun features a locking metal XLR3 connector with heavy-duty cable strain relief, making it ideal for demanding applications such as rental or staging. Active microphones are supported (ground pin must be connected at both ends). The Cat5e/6 cable terminates inside the balun, and an optional terminal is provided for ground/shield connection.
