Contacta - Choosing the Right Counter Intercom

A counter intercom, a window microphone or a cashier microphone - regardless of how we name a device designed to facilitate communication through a glass partition, we will help you choose the best solution.

Selecting the right counter intercom may seem complex. That is why we have prepared comparison tables outlining the key features of all available Contacta counter intercoms.

How to Read the Comparison Tables

The tables compare the models by their key features: resistance to ambient noise (low, medium or high), two-way volume control, full-duplex operation, induction loop compatibility, PTT button, audio output and feedback limiter, as well as colour, housing material and IP rating.

Noise resistance is usually the most important criterion. Simple systems are sufficient at quiet service points, while in noisy environments, such as railway stations, ticket offices or pharmacies in shopping centres, models with high noise resistance and a microphone placed closer to the speaker perform better.
