The cerasonar protection unit 25W is a simplified speaker protection module designed for in-wall loudspeakers from the cerasonar fit series, including models 1520 fit and 2525 fit single stereo. It provides essential overload protection to support long-term reliability in drywall audio installations.
When properly installed, this module enables the 5-year manufacturer’s warranty on cerasonar loudspeakers. It features jumper configuration (F1 + F4) and includes two WAGO 221 connectors. Its compact dimensions (20.0x9.1x4.9cm) allow for easy integration into wall or ceiling spaces.
Please note that this protection unit is not suitable for use with AV receivers - its slow response may not detect power peaks. For such applications, we recommend using the protection unit pro or cerasonar amplifiers for more effective impulse protection.
