Waves System VibroGlass 2 is an audio transducer that turns furniture, tables, display cases, windows, and showcases into discreet speakers for indoor and outdoor sound reinforcement. It is particularly designed for glass, but can also be mounted on wood, other hard surfaces, and even drywall. This allows for discreet background music, announcements, and voice recordings to be emitted where a traditional speaker would be undesirable. When connected to an amplifier with an audio or video player, the transducer transmits clear, distinct speech and music through the material it is mounted on. A storefront can then broadcast sound both outside and inside, while exhibits, display cases, or paintings in a museum can "speak for themselves." VibroGlass 2 is the larger and more powerful model in the series, with a load capacity of 50W RMS, an impedance of 8Ω, and a resonance frequency of 500Hz. The IP68 protection rating ensures resistance to water and dust.
