Theory Audio Design ic5 is a compact, high-efficiency in-ceiling loudspeaker designed for professional AV installations. Based on the technology of the larger ic6 model, the ic5 delivers dynamic full-range sound with slightly reduced maximum SPL. It supports both 16-ohm and 70V/100V operation, making it suitable for low and high impedance systems.
The molded ABS frame with integrated powder-coated steel back can ensures durability and weather resistance. The Theory coaxial driver features a 5" carbon fiber low-frequency cone and a 1.4" AdvancedPoly™ compression tweeter, delivering wide bandwidth and high sensitivity. Included round and square perforated metal grilles are paintable and frameless, allowing the ic5 to blend seamlessly into any commercial or corporate interior.
The ic5 is suitable for indoor and outdoor use (with optional all-weather grille) and installs easily using three retractable dog-ear mounting points.
