Theory Audio Design PLC-16K4 is a professional 4-channel speaker controller with a built-in amplifier, designed for the most demanding AV installations, venue sound systems, sports arenas, theaters, conference centers, and large commercial spaces. The device delivers up to 16000W of power in a compact 1U rack enclosure, combining exceptional performance with advanced DSP processing and support for Dante and AES67 networks.
The PLC-16K4 model is designed for implementing extensive Audio over IP systems. Four amplifier channels allow for handling both low-impedance installations and high-voltage 70V and 100V systems. With very high output power, the device can power large numbers of speakers in extensive commercial and professional installations.
The controller is equipped with three configurable Gigabit Ethernet ports, including one PoE port. Each port can be configured for audio transmission, control, or both functions simultaneously. Integration with Powersoft Armonia+ software allows for quick design and deployment of systems, while the Powersoft MyUniverso platform provides advanced remote monitoring and management of the device.
The advanced 48kHz/24-bit DSP processor offers a complete set of functions necessary for tuning professional sound systems. The manufacturer provides dedicated presets for all Theory Audio Design speaker models, allowing for optimization of operating parameters and reducing installation configuration time.
