Soft dB RLCTL2 – 8-Channel 1U Sound Masking Controller (No Amplifier)
The Soft dB RLCTL2 is a compact 1U rackmount sound masking controller designed for large office spaces over 5000 square feet. It offers the full functionality of the RL96 model but without a built-in amplifier, allowing seamless integration with external power amplifiers for greater system design flexibility.
Each of the 8 output channels features independent equalization with 340 narrow bands and 23 1/3 octave bands. The controller supports 8 shared inputs for adaptive volume control and music/paging, with 20-band EQ per channel. The integrated touchscreen interface provides intuitive control of masking and music volume in each zone.
RLCTL2 includes full scheduling, emergency mute, admin/user password protection, and can operate as a master or secondary unit in the Project Manager software. It meets LEED requirements and can be networked with other Soft dB controllers as part of the smartSMS-NET system.
