SCP CAT6-GY-ETL-D is an unshielded U/UTP category 6 network cable from the Installer series, designed for permanent installations inside buildings. In tests, it achieves a bandwidth of 500MHz, exceeding the required 250MHz standard, and provides stable transmission in Gigabit Ethernet networks, and on shorter runs also 10Gb/s. It performs well in horizontal and vertical cabling of buildings, in office networks, surveillance systems, VoIP telephony, and AV installations. The solid 23 AWG copper conductors ensure stable transmission parameters, and PoE support up to 30W allows powering IP cameras, phones, and Wi-Fi access points. The flame-retardant separator separates pairs and reduces crosstalk. The gray jacket color facilitates track differentiation in installations. The cable has an ETL c(ETL) CMR FT4 certification for vertical installations and a fire reaction class of Dca-s3,d2,a3 according to EN 50575. It is delivered in a Reelex II carton, which unwinds without twisting and tangling, even when the carton is damaged. The jacket is printed with decreasing footage and zone legends, making installation and wire marking easier.
