SCP CAT6-DB is an unshielded U/UTP category 6 network cable designed for direct burial and outdoor installations. It achieves a bandwidth of 550MHz and meets the requirements of ANSI/TIA 568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801 class E, making it suitable for outdoor LAN networks and low-voltage telecommunication installations. Four pairs of conductors made of solid bare 23 AWG copper in HDPE insulation provide stable transmission parameters. The gel filling protects the interior of the cable from moisture ingress, while the separator divides the pairs. The core of the cable is wrapped in polyester tape. The LLDPE jacket with UV stabilization protects the cable in the ground and when exposed to sunlight. A nylon pulling string facilitates jacket removal, and the printed footage and zone/device legend on the jacket aid in installation and marking paths. The cable is supplied on a 305m spool.
