The Relacart SM2 is a professional shotgun microphone designed for photography, interviews, and field recording. Its unique vertical slot and acoustic interference tube design provide supercardioid directivity, high sensitivity, and effective suppression of off-axis noise and audio frequency interference.

The built-in 100 Hz high-pass filter helps eliminate low-frequency noise such as air conditioning and environmental hum. SM2 supports both 48 V phantom power and AA (1.5 V) battery operation, making it compatible with professional audio recorders, cameras, and power supplies. The included anti-vibration mount reduces mechanical noise from equipment movement, while the windscreen minimizes wind and plosive sounds during recording.
