Description
Dante conference system with room automation
Dedicated conference system based on IP network and Dante protocol, designed for conference, banquet, and multifunctional rooms in hotel facilities. The solution provides high sound quality, configuration flexibility, and full room automation, enabling efficient management of business events, conferences, training sessions, and corporate meetings.
The system allows for easy scaling of the number of microphone desks depending on the size and nature of the event. It ensures comfortable management of conferences, discussion panels, and management meetings, and if needed, allows for simultaneous translations in up to three languages, which is crucial during international events.
Microphone desks RDL TP-BN14 are equipped with built-in speakers and the ability to individually select the monitoring signal. Built-in headphone amplifiers allow participants to use their own headphones, increasing comfort in large, crowded conference rooms or during intensive events.
The use of IP network communication and the universal Dante protocol eliminates the need for dedicated audio cabling. All signal transmission occurs over a standard IP network, facilitating installation, expansion, and flexible adaptation of the system to changing room layouts. The system allows routing of any audio signals or their mixes to recording devices, computers for streaming events, additional sound reinforcement zones, or press boxes RDL AV-NL4 for media.
The central element of the solution is the processor/matrix HARVEY, combining advanced audio processing functions with room automation. The matrix allows connecting analog and digital audio sources, handling audio content from presenters' devices, and full automation of event parameters. It is available in various configurations of analog inputs and outputs (typically 8x8) along with a 64x64 Dante module.
In larger hotel facilities, it is possible to connect several HARVEY matrices in a Hypermatrix structure and manage the entire system from a single software interface. The system allows creating intuitive interfaces based on local web pages, enabling hotel staff to control the system from tablets, smartphones, or computers without the need for advanced technical support.
The HARVEY matrix allows integration with room automation, including control of lighting in DALI standard and blinds. Supported communication protocols include RS‑232, RS‑485, RS‑422, DMX, TCP/IP, and UDP, allowing for cohesive integration of audio, lighting, and room functionality in one solution.
The wall controller RC4 allows quick selection of predefined room presets, such as conference, presentation, banquet, or technical break, without the need for constant technical support. Controllers FNIP‑4xSH and OptiLite with DALI‑2 module operating in IP network provide control over additional room equipment elements.
The system can be easily expanded with automated recording and video presentation of events, as well as control over video signal switching using HDMI matrices or AV over IP systems, increasing the flexibility of the hotel's conference offering.
