RDL TX-TPS6A – Passive Single-Pair Format-A Audio Sender with Balanced Line Input
The RDL TX-TPS6A is a passive audio sender module designed for professional AV installations, compatible with RDL’s Format-A twisted pair system. It accepts a single low-impedance +4 dBu balanced line-level input via a detachable terminal block and sends the signal to a selected cable pair (A, B, or C) using a front-panel switch.
A studio-quality transformer provides galvanic isolation between the audio source and the RJ45 output. The passive design requires no power, simplifying installation and enhancing reliability.
The LOOP IN RJ45 jack allows daisy-chaining with other Format-A senders—up to two single-pair or one two-pair sender. All signal and power pairs are passed through the RJ45 connectors, enabling flexible audio distribution system design.
