The RDL TX-TP4PW is a power supply module (power inserter) and signal splitter for the RDL Format-A system, where audio is transmitted over twisted pair cable. The module accepts 24V DC power through the DC power socket and distributes it through four RJ45 sockets to remote Format-A transmitters and receivers. This allows the entire system power to come from one location, eliminating the need for separate power supplies at distant devices. Audio signals from pairs A, B, and C are connected in parallel across all four sockets. This enables sound distribution to multiple points and powers up to three high-current Format-A receivers, each connected with a separate cable directly from the module. Each RJ45 output provides up to 200mA and is protected by a self-resetting fuse. A blue LED indicates module power, while a green LED confirms correct output voltage at the RJ45 sockets.
