RDL TX-PD8X – 24 V DC Power Distributor with Soft-Start and Remote Control

The RDL TX-PD8X is an advanced power distributor designed for splitting 24 V DC from current-limited switching power supplies. It supports powering up to eight modules from a single source, offering soft-start functionality and remote control of output activation.

TX-PD8X gradually ramps up voltage at startup, quickly charging load capacitance before switching full voltage to the outputs. If reverse polarity is detected at the input, the unit disconnects the load until corrected. The distributor normally powers ground-referenced modules, and a front-panel switch enables external control via ground contact, open-collector outputs, or RDL remote controllers such as the D-RT2.

TX-PD8X is ideal for professional AV installations where multiple modules are powered from a single supply and power control must be integrated with system logic. A front-panel blue LED indicates active outputs.
