RDL TX-AVX - Automatic 2x1 Video Switch with Signal Detection, BNC Connectors

RDL TX-AVX is a professional automatic video switch designed for AV installations requiring seamless switchover to a backup source when the primary signal is lost. The unit features two video inputs and one output, switching via a high-quality RF relay. When a valid NTSC or PAL signal is detected on the main input, it is routed to the output. If the signal is absent, the AUX input is automatically connected to the output.

Video detection is based on sync signals, ignoring 50Hz and 60Hz hum and induction artifacts. TX-AVX can detect signals as low as 0.5V p-p, ensuring reliable operation even in challenging environments. A dry-contact relay output allows integration with alert systems such as RDL BZR modules for status change notification. The unit operates from either AC or DC power, offering installation flexibility.
