RDL ST-VOX1 - Voice-Operated Relay

The RDL ST-VOX1 is a voice-activated audio relay from the STICK-ON® series, designed for automatic switching in response to audio signals. It supports both mic and line-level inputs, making it ideal for intercom, talkback, and other hands-free control applications in professional AV systems.

The ST-VOX1 can be triggered directly by an unbalanced microphone signal. In more complex setups, it pairs perfectly with the STM-1 preamplifier: the STM-1’s unbalanced output activates the ST-VOX1, while the balanced output continues the audio path. This allows simultaneous signal routing and control without additional hardware.

A precise threshold adjustment enables fine-tuning of the activation level to suit the acoustic environment, ensuring reliable operation even in noisy conditions. The module features a DPDT switching contact and an open-collector SLAVE output for controlling additional devices or modules.

Its compact STICK-ON® form factor allows easy integration into racks, custom enclosures, or surface-mounted installations. The unit operates on 24V DC, consistent with the STICK-ON® series standard.
