The RDL RU-VCA2A is a professional studio-grade dual-channel audio attenuator designed for local and remote control of balanced or unbalanced line-level signals. It provides precise 0.5 dB step adjustments using noiseless zero-crossing digital attenuators, ensuring reliable, click-free operation in demanding AV environments.
The RU-VCA2A operates in two selectable modes: MOM (momentary) and 0-10 VDC. In MOM mode, audio level is controlled via momentary pushbuttons or pulses, with independently adjustable ramp-up and ramp-down times. In 0-10 VDC mode, level is controlled by voltage or a 10 kΩ potentiometer. Both modes offer two 0-10 VDC outputs for driving level displays or loudness equalizers.
Multiple remote control points are supported, and the unit can function as a MASTER to control additional RU-VCA2A or RU-VCA6A modules in SLAVE mode. Inputs and outputs can be wired as balanced or unbalanced, providing integration flexibility.
