Description
RDL RU-MLB2 - bidirectional Dante 2x2 network interface for microphone and line signals
RDL RU-MLB2 is a bidirectional Dante audio interface from Radio Design Labs, designed to connect microphone and line devices to an audio network. It is suitable for rack cabinets, technical rooms, conference tables, shelves, and mounting panels in commercial and industrial installations. The device combines two sections in one housing. The network-line section converts 2 Dante channels to balanced line outputs +4dBu (at -18dBFS), with crosstalk maintained below the noise level. The microphone/line-network section converts 2 microphone or line sources to Dante channels, and the type of signal for each input is selected via a switch on the rear panel. Automatic microphone gain of -40dB for condenser microphones and -60dB for dynamic ones means the installer does not need to adjust the gain. Each microphone input has phantom power P48. 24-bit conversion, RDL analog filtering, and signal and network synchronization LEDs ensure high sound quality and clear operational control. The RU-MLB2 is powered by an external 24V DC power supply (available separately), and a PoE-powered variant is offered as a separate model RU-MLB2P. The completely metal housing allows for free-standing, surface, or rack mounting. The device is designed and manufactured in the USA. The product comes with a 7-year manufacturer's warranty.
