RDL RU-BNF - Format-A Bi-Directional Network Interface
RDL RU-BNF is a professional bi-directional audio interface that bridges RDL Format-A systems with Dante networks. It converts three Format-A audio pairs (A, B, C) and one AUX input (balanced or unbalanced) into four Dante channels, while simultaneously converting four Dante channels into three Format-A output pairs and one AUX line output (+4dBu).
The unit supports 24V DC power, and the RU-BNFP version offers PoE (IEEE 802.3af) with automatic power source switching. Each Format-A RJ45 connector is protected by an auto-resetting fuse and features a power LED for fault identification. Signal LEDs indicate audio presence on all Dante and Format-A channels.
RU-BNF features high-resolution 24-bit AD/DA conversion and RDL’s renowned analog filtering for superior audio fidelity and low noise. Its rugged metal enclosure supports surface or rack mounting. Compatible with a wide range of active and passive Format-A senders and receivers, RU-BNF is ideal for commercial and industrial AV installations.
