RDL PT-ASG1 - portable audio signal generator

RDL PT-ASG1 is a precision portable or bench-top audio oscillator designed for system verification, alignment and testing in AV environments. It generates a stable 700 Hz signal, ideal for audio system passband testing and less fatiguing than higher-frequency tones.

The unit provides two outputs: a balanced XLR output with MIC/LINE level selection and an unbalanced -10 dBV output for consumer devices. The XLR output can be factory-set to +4 dBu or user-programmed to +6 dBu. In MIC mode, the output is -46 dBu, 50 dB below line level, and maintains consistent output across varying input impedances.

Powered by a standard 9V battery or external 12-30V DC supply, the PT-ASG1 includes test leads and a bench support bracket. A switch inside the battery compartment allows users to select the reference output level.
