Description
RDL HR-DAC1 - Broadcast-Quality Digital to Analog Audio Converter (24-bit / 192 kHz)
The RDL HR-DAC1 is a high-performance digital-to-analog converter designed for broadcast, studio, and professional AV applications. It automatically detects digital input formats including AES/EBU, AES-3ID, and S/PDIF (optical or coaxial), converting them to high-quality stereo analog audio.
HR-DAC1 supports sample rates from 32 kHz to 192 kHz and up to 24-bit resolution. Front-panel LEDs indicate sync lock and sample rate. RDL’s Sure-Lok™ technology ensures automatic recovery and stable operation under demanding conditions.
Digital signals are processed using delta-sigma conversion, digital filtering, and wideband analog drivers. Analog outputs are available as balanced (+4 dBu) via XLR and terminal block, and unbalanced (-10 dBV) via RCA. Output levels are adjustable per channel using front-panel knobs, with dual-LED VU meters for precise monitoring.
