RDL FP-TPX3A – Format-A Twisted Pair Remote-Controlled 3-Channel Audio Mixer

The RDL FP-TPX3A is a remote-controlled 3-channel audio mixer designed for professional AV installations, compatible with RDL’s Format-A twisted pair system. It mixes audio signals from pairs A, B, and C, with VCA level control for each channel via RDL remote control panels. Ideal for zone-based audio systems such as hotel rooms, conference spaces, and classrooms.

The mixer accepts signals from active or passive Format-A senders and includes a local input for paging or music sources. Outputs are available in balanced (terminal block) and unbalanced (2 x RCA) formats, allowing direct connection to stereo amplifiers.

FP-TPX3A features a dual-LED VU meter and an audio presence detector with open-collector outputs for energy-saving control of external devices. The delay before deactivation can be set to 10 or 20 minutes. The mixer powers all connected Format-A modules and remote controls.
