The RDL FP-PA18 is a high-efficiency Class D mono amplifier delivering 18W RMS into 8Ω, designed for professional AV installations requiring compact form, energy efficiency, and superior audio quality. It features a balanced or unbalanced line-level input, integrated analog compressor/limiter, and automatic sleep mode for minimal power consumption.

When no audio signal is present, the amplifier enters sleep mode, reducing power usage to less than 1W. The sleep delay can be set to 5, 15, or 25 minutes, or disabled entirely. Upon signal detection, the FP-PA18 resumes full operation within 150 milliseconds, ensuring seamless performance.

The analog compressor enhances average output power while maintaining audio transparency, even with input overloads up to 20 dB. A compression LED indicates limiter activity, and the output signal detector enables external device control or system monitoring.

Equipped with thermal and short-circuit protection, the FP-PA18’s all-metal ultra-compact housing ensures durability in demanding environments. Powered by 24V DC, it is ideal for AV systems where space and energy efficiency are critical.
