Description

RDL FP-NML2 - Dante interface with 2 microphone/line outputs, FLAT-PAK series

RDL FP-NML2 is an audio Dante interface from Radio Design Labs that allows you to connect devices with microphone or line inputs to the Dante network, including standard power amplifiers and mixing amplifiers. It is suitable for rack cabinets, technical rooms, conference tables, shelves, and mounting panels in commercial and industrial installations. The device converts 2 Dante channels to professional balanced line outputs +4dBu (at -18dBFS) without the need for additional gain. The noise level is over 80dB lower than the working level, the headroom exceeds 18dB, and crosstalk across the entire audio band is maintained below the noise level. The recessed MIC/LINE switch at each output introduces a 50dB attenuation, allowing the microphone input of the mixing amplifier to be powered. The 24-bit A/D conversion and RDL's analog filtering ensure low noise and low distortion. Outputs are muted when the digital input signals are inactive. The FP-NML2 is powered by an external 24V DC power supply (available separately), and the pass-through DC socket with an extension cable allows sharing the power supply with RDL FLAT-PAK amplifiers. A PoE-powered variant is offered as a separate model FP-NML2P. The completely metal housing allows for free-standing, surface, or rack mounting. The device is designed and manufactured in the USA for continuous operation. The product comes with a 7-year manufacturer's warranty.
