RDL DS-SP1A – 2-Watt Decora®-Style 8 Ohm Loudspeaker

RDL DS-SP1A is a compact 8 ohm loudspeaker designed for wall or flat-surface mounting in Decora®-style AV installations. Despite its small size, it delivers rich, detailed sound comparable to larger drivers, making it ideal for speech and music applications.

The steel enclosure provides full baffling in a sealed, rigid structure, enhancing sonic presence and extending frequency response. Internal filtering rolls off out-of-band frequencies to reduce distortion and improve peak power handling. The convex aluminum cone with rubber surround and neodymium motor ensures clarity and dynamic performance.

With hemispherical dispersion up to 180° when wall-mounted, the D-SP1A is suited for conference rooms, classrooms, and public spaces. Audio input is connected via a 2-position detachable terminal block. The speaker handles up to 2 watts RMS and can be driven by amplifiers rated up to 10 watts.
