RDL DS-RN12 - Wall-Mounted Bi-Directional Mic/Line Dante Interface 1x2

The RDL DS-RN12 is a professional-grade wall-mounted Dante/AES67 audio interface (1x2), designed for AV installations requiring one input to the network and two analog outputs from the network. It features one XLR mic/line input on the front panel, one mic/line XLR output on the front panel, and two balanced line outputs on a rear-panel detachable wiring block.

The XLR input is converted to a Dante/AES67 transmit channel with software-selectable gain: 35 dB, 42 dB, or 59 dB for microphones; unity or +12 dB for line-level signals. Phantom power (48 V) is software-enabled. All outputs include software-controlled attenuation in 1 dB steps (up to 63 dB, then OFF). The front-panel XLR output is selectable for mic or line level.

Two Dante channels are converted to analog outputs: one feeds the front-panel XLR and one rear-panel output; the second feeds the other rear-panel output. These outputs can drive local amplifiers or feed additional XLR jacks mounted adjacent to the D-RN12 in a dual-gang box.

The D-RN12 delivers studio-grade audio via 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and low-noise architecture with RDL’s analog filtering. It is PoE powered and mounts in US single-gang boxes or EU/UK boxes using the EP-1 adapter.
