RDL DS-PSP1AF – Decora-Style Active Loudspeaker, Format-A

RDL DS-PSP1AF is a compact, active wall-mounted loudspeaker designed for professional AV installations where sound quality, aesthetics, and integration simplicity are essential. Compatible with RDL Format-A twisted pair systems, it fits standard Decora® wall plates for seamless in-wall or flat-surface mounting.

The speaker features a high-efficiency Class D amplifier delivering 2 W RMS, with an integrated analog compressor/limiter that prevents clipping and allows higher average output levels. Audio and 24 V DC power are delivered via a rear RJ45 connector from a Format-A sender, simplifying installation with a single twisted-pair cable.

Its acoustically optimized steel enclosure, built with materials used in premium loudspeakers, provides extended frequency response and sonic presence. Hemispherical dispersion (nearly 180°) ensures wide sound coverage when mounted in a wall. The installer sets the gain using a control hidden behind the speaker grille.
