RDL DS-BT1A – Wall-Mounted Bluetooth® Audio Format-A Interface
The RDL DS-BT1A is a professional wall-mounted Bluetooth® audio receiver module compatible with RDL Format-A twisted pair systems. It enables wireless audio streaming from smartphones, tablets, and computers into installed sound systems using standard CATx cabling.
The module receives stereo audio via Bluetooth and sends it to a Format-A receiver – either in stereo over two pairs or in mono (summed) over a single selected pair (A, B, or C). Rear-panel switches allow selection of audio mode and output pair. In mono mode, up to three DS-BT1A modules can be daisy-chained to a single Format-A receiver.
Pairing is simple via a single front-panel button, with LED status indication. The installer can configure the module ID name and programming password directly via Bluetooth using a smartphone or computer terminal – no special software required.
The module is powered remotely through the twisted pair cable or locally via a terminal block. Dual RJ45 jacks pass signal and power to additional modules. The Decora®-style housing is available in white (D-BT1A), black (DB-BT1A), and stainless steel (DS-BT1A).
