The RDL DDS-RN42 is a professional-grade wall-mounted 4x2 Dante audio interface designed for AV systems requiring flexible network control and high-fidelity audio. It converts four input signals to Dante and receives two Dante channels for conversion to analog line-level outputs.
The front panel features two XLR mic/line inputs and two XLR outputs. The rear panel includes two balanced line-level inputs via a detachable terminal block. All input and output parameters are configured via RDL CONSOLE or Q-SYS software.
XLR inputs offer software-selectable mic/line modes, gain settings (35 dB / 42 dB / 59 dB for mic; unity / +12 dB for line), and phantom power (48 V). Terminal block inputs support +4 dBu or -10 dBV levels. XLR outputs provide +4 dBu balanced signals with software-controlled attenuation in 1 dB steps up to 62 dB or OFF.
The DDS-RN42 delivers studio-grade audio via 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and RDL’s analog filtering. Its steel chassis, metal XLR connectors, and AMS connector compatibility ensure durability and flexible installation. PoE powered, with front-panel LEDs for power and Dante sync.
