RDL DDS-BN31 – Wall-Mounted Bi-Directional Mic/Line Dante Interface 4 x 4 with XLR, Mini Jack Inputs and Outputs
The RDL DDS-BN31 is a high-performance, wall-mounted 4x4 Dante audio interface designed for professional AV installations. It enables conversion of four audio channels to and from the Dante network: two XLR mic/line inputs, one stereo mini jack input, one stereo mini jack output, and two line-level outputs on a rear-panel terminal block.
XLR inputs offer mic/line selection, gain adjustment (40 dB / 48 dB / 62 dB for mic; unity, +12 dB, +19 dB for line), and 48 V phantom power. The mini jack input supports stereo or mono signals, with a selector to sum to mono. The mini jack output can be configured for stereo or mono (left channel). Terminal block outputs offer balanced +4 dBu or unbalanced -10 dBV levels.
The DDS-BN31 delivers studio-grade audio via 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and RDL’s analog filtering. Configuration is handled via onboard switches without dedicated software.
PoE powered and equipped with front-panel LEDs for power and Dante sync, the unit features a stainless-steel chassis, metal XLR connectors, and compatibility with AMS audio connectors (RCA, mini jack, XLR) for flexible installation.
