RDL DDB-RN31 – Wall-Mounted Bi-Directional Mic/Line Dante Interface 4 x 4 with XLR, RCA, Mini Jack Inputs and Outputs
The RDL DDB-RN31 is a professional-grade wall-mounted 4x4 Dante audio interface designed for advanced AV installations. It converts four input signals to Dante and receives four Dante channels for conversion to analog line-level outputs. The unit features two XLR mic/line inputs, one stereo mini jack input, two RCA inputs, one stereo mini jack output on the front panel, and two balanced outputs on a rear-panel terminal block.
Configuration and adjustment are handled via network control software such as RDL CONSOLE or Q-SYS. Mic gain (35 dB / 42 dB / 59 dB), line gain (unity / +12 dB), and phantom power (48 V) are software-selectable. RCA and mini jack inputs (-10 dBV) can feed one or two Dante channels, with summing options.
The mini jack output (-10 dBV) supports stereo Dante channels or can be configured as mono (left channel). Terminal block outputs provide +4 dBu balanced signals with software-controlled attenuation in 1 dB steps.
The DDB-RN31 delivers studio-grade audio via 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and RDL’s analog filtering. Its steel chassis, metal XLR connectors, and AMS connector compatibility (RCA, mini jack, XLR) ensure durability and flexible installation. PoE powered, with front-panel LEDs for power and Dante sync.
