Description
RDL DB-TPS3A – Active Three-Pair Audio Sender Format-A with XLR Mic and RCA Inputs
The RDL DB-TPS3A is an active audio sending module designed for professional AV installations, compatible with RDL’s Format-A twisted pair system. It features a balanced XLR microphone input with phantom power and two unbalanced RCA line-level inputs. The mic signal is routed to pair A, while the left and right RCA inputs are routed to pairs B and C respectively.
Studio-quality preamplifiers ensure optimal audio performance. A rear-panel gain switch allows installers to select normal or high mic gain, accommodating various microphone types and usage scenarios. Power can be supplied locally via a terminal block or remotely through the twisted pair cable. An auto-resetting fuse protects against overloads, and a front-panel LED indicates power status.
The DB-TPS3A uses all three Format-A pairs and cannot be connected with other sender modules. Its Decora®-style panel allows for wall box mounting, making it ideal for conference, education, and commercial AV environments.
