RDL DB-RC4RU – Four-Channel Remote Control for RACK-UP Audio/Video Switchers
The RDL DB-RC4RU is a wall-mounted remote control panel designed to operate RDL RACK-UP switchers such as the RU-SX4A (audio) and RU-VSX4 (video). It enables selection of one of four audio or video sources from a single control location, making it ideal for professional AV installations.
The front panel features four momentary pushbuttons, each corresponding to a source input. Adjacent LEDs indicate the currently selected source. Upon power-up, source 1 is automatically selected. Pressing any other button deselects source 1 and activates the chosen input.
The DB-RC4RU connects to the switcher’s power and SLAVE terminals using a 3-pair or 6-conductor cable. It includes four open-collector outputs that pull to ground when a source is selected. For stereo setups, the panel can control two RU-SX4A modules simultaneously.
Constructed with a steel frame, the electronics are securely housed in the rear enclosure. Connections are made via a detachable rear terminal block.
