RDL D-RN22 - Wall-Mounted Bi-Directional Mic/Line Dante Interface 2x2
The RDL D-RN22 is a professional-grade wall-mounted Dante/AES67 audio interface (2x2), designed for AV installations requiring bidirectional signal transmission. It features two mic/line XLR inputs on the front panel and two balanced line outputs on a rear-panel detachable wiring block.
Each XLR input is converted to a separate Dante/AES67 transmit channel. Input gain is software-selectable: 35 dB, 42 dB, or 59 dB for microphones; unity or +12 dB for line-level signals. Phantom power (48 V) is software-enabled for mic inputs.
Two Dante channels are converted to analog line-level outputs on the rear-panel terminal block. Each output provides +4 dBu and includes a software-controlled attenuator adjustable in 1 dB steps (up to 63 dB, then OFF). Outputs can drive local amplifiers or feed additional XLR jacks mounted adjacent to the D-RN22 in a dual-gang box.
The D-RN22 delivers studio-grade audio via 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and low-noise architecture with RDL’s analog filtering. It is PoE powered and mounts in US single-gang boxes or EU/UK boxes using the EP-1 adapter.
