RDL AV-HK1 - “Hum Killer” Audio Isolation Module

The RDL AV-HK1 is a stereo transformer isolation module designed to eliminate ground loops and hum in unbalanced audio lines. It provides galvanic isolation for stereo signals, effectively reducing noise caused by ground potential differences between the source and destination devices.

Equipped with gold-plated RCA connectors and two adapter cables for mini-plug and mini-jack compatibility, the AV-HK1 connects consumer audio sources such as computers, CD players, or cassette decks to grounded amplifiers or mixers. The input shield is electrically isolated from the case and output ground, ensuring clean signal transmission.

The AV-HK1 is housed in a rugged, portable enclosure and includes a mounting bracket for fixed installations. The included AV-AC2 cable kit allows easy interfacing with devices using stereo mini connectors. Replacement cable kits are available separately.
