The Niveo Professional NRS48T4XPH is a fully managed L2+ network switch with an enhanced power budget, equipped with 48 10/100/1000Base-T ports with PoE+ power and 4 SFP+ slots operating in 1G/10G mode. The device is designed for installation in a 19" rack (1U) and is suitable for large networks with multiple powered devices - in AV installations, network audio systems, monitoring, and Video-over-IP. The total PoE budget of 800W allows powering multiple devices simultaneously with full power up to 30W per port, in accordance with IEEE 802.3af/at standards. Four 10G SFP+ slots serve as uplink connections, enabling network expansion from 1G to 10G and fast connections to other 10G switches, servers, and workstations, as well as port aggregation for increased bandwidth. The non-blocking matrix of 176Gbps, performance of 130.94Mpps, 32K MAC address table, and 32Mb buffer ensure smooth handling of intensive traffic. Support for IEEE 1588v2 (PTP) in transparent clock mode provides precise time synchronization required by advanced audio protocols such as AES67. PoE management includes power budget control, priorities and power limits for ports, scheduling, PD Alive Check, and Soft-Reboot PoE Non-stop. A rich set of L2+ features includes 4094 active VLAN networks, Q-in-Q, Voice VLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP with protection mechanisms, ERPS G.8032 ring with switching below 20ms, IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3 with Fast Leave, and QoS with 8 priority queues. Management is done via the web (HTTP/HTTPS), CLI (console, Telnet, SSH), and SNMP v1/v2c/v3, while 802.1X, 512 ACL rules, RADIUS, TACACS+, and DoS attack protection ensure a high level of security.
